And now, an update on the winner of the grand prize of $2,000 at this year's show.
The Grand Prize of $2000 was won by member Bev McGown. She was given the envelope and check with instructions but left the show because rain was coming and only opened it later that night. Bev's car was not present at the show and Garry Garvin announced three times just before the draw that the car had to be there and in the participant's name for the grand prize, which it has been that way for 27 years.
Bev will be at the club meeting September 5th and will re-draw the winning participant grand prize of $2000.
From the executive, we apologize for the inconvenience and hats off to Bev for understanding the rules of our car show for 27 years and good luck to all participants.
Thank you for your support. The winner will be called from the club meeting after the draw.
It's official!! The 2018 lucky grand prize winner is....
Jacques Campeau of St. Charles!
